  • Does this app need internet connection to work?

    Works offline, no internet connection needed except during iCloud sync

  • Is it possible to customise the contexts?

    Yes, contexts, biases and scenarios are customizable

  • I forgot my passcode for the app.

    Unfortunately there is no way to recover the app passcode. If you have already taken iCloud backup of app data, you can uninstall/reinstall the app and restore the data from iCloud.

  • I deleted the app accidentally. Is it possible to retrive the data?

    The app data can be restored if you have backed up the app data in iCloud from Worry Watch > Settings > Backup To iCloud or backed up the iPhone itself in your computer using iTunes

  • How to backup the app data to my iCloud account?

    Worry Watch > Settings > iCloud > Backup To iCloud

  • How to restore the app data from my iCloud account?

    Worry Watch > Settings > iCloud > Restore From iCloud

  • How to transfer app data from old device to new device?

    From old device: Worry Watch > Settings > iCloud > Back up to iCloud

    From new device: Worry Watch > Settings > iCloud > Restore from iCloud

    Note: You need to signin to the devices using same iCloud account.

  • How to sync between iPhone and iPad?

    App won't sync automatically. You need to signin to the devices using same iCloud account, backup the latest app data to iCloud from one device first and restore it from iCloud on the other device.

  • What is Evidence For/Against?

    Worry: What if I lose my job?

    Evidence For (my worry): Company is downsizing

    Evidence Against (my worry): My past performance evaluation & accomplishments suggests I am a high performer in the company

  • What is Rea/Hypothetical scenario?

    Most of the ‘what if’ situation could be classified as hypothetical. For example,‘what if’ I lose my job.

    If I am worried about an upcoming exam or job interview it is a real situation (I can take a concrete action - prepare well for the interview).

  • What is worry date field and reminder date field used for?

    Worry date is the date the worry started

    Reminder date is the date you expect to know the outcome of your worry

  • I want to see only upcoming/awaiting events, is that possible?

    Yes, use filters or bookmarks in the list tab of the app

  • Is it possible to select more than one cognitive bias?

    No, it is not possible to select more than one bias

  • Can I export the data to share with someone?

    Yes, you can export both journal (look for export icon at the right top) as well as statistics (look for ellipsis icon - 3 dotsfrom the respective tabs in the app.

  • Is the app available in other languages?

    Yes, the app is available in 16 languages: English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese

  • I want to use app in English and not in my native language

    App uses the default language set in the device (iPhone > Settings > General > Language & region > iPhone Language) if that language translation is available in the app

  • Is this app works in iPad?

    Yes, app works in both iPhone and iPad

  • Is this app available in volume discount?

    yes, app participates in Volume Purchase Program.

  • What to do if app crashed?

    If you are able to open the app, please backup the app data from Worry Watch > Settings > iCloud > Backup To iCloud. If you recently updated apple iOS, try reinstalling the app and restoring the data as it might clear corrupted installs/caches.

    If still unresolved, please share crash data by going to Settings > Privacy, scroll down and tap Analytics. Then tap Share iPhone Analytics and tap Share With App Developers.

  • Where is the app data stored? Who has access to it? How secure is the data?

    The app data is stored within the app in your device and in your iCloud account if backed up and no where else.

    Only you have access to it.

    The app data is encrypted on the the device’s disk using Apple’s Data Protection feature.
